About Rudy Ramirez - Rudy spent 33 years as the General Manager of Fixed Prosthodontics at Glidewell Laboratories in Newport Beach, California before retiring in 2015. He managed 450 employees that generated over $65m in annual sales. Rudy was instrumental in helping develop BruxZir Solid Zirconia working closely with Glidewell R&D scientists, and technicians. He oversaw the entire restorative production team for the BruxZir Solid Zirconia clinical study with Dr’s Gordon and Rella Christensen of Clinicians Report on this industry changing restorative material. Rudy has taught courses on laboratory management and advanced BruxZir techniques to domestic and international audiences, and continues giving back to the industry helping dental laboratories streamline their production and grow their business. Since retiring Rudy and his wife of 39 years, Debbie, enjoy spoiling their 7 grandchildren in the beautiful Temecula Wine Country in Southern California. He’s walked the 500-mile Camino de Santiago across Spain, enjoys woodworking, and boating with family and friends.
